Protecting Aboite and lake townships

The West Central Fire District was formed in 2023 to provide fire and emergency medical protection services to residents in Aboite and Lake Townships in Allen County, IN.

West Central Fire District is committed to community health and safety. We understand the devastating impact of opioid overdoses and are pleased to offer Narcan, a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Narcan is available for free to residents at our fire stations. We encourage anyone who may come into contact with opioids, whether personally or through a family member or friend, to stop by a fire station and pick up a Narcan kit. Our firefighters and medics can also provide training on how to administer Narcan in case of an emergency.
